What Skylab is

Skylab is an information service operated by Rightsify. It reads published statistics — national customs tables, exchange filings, central-bank reference rates and comparable public sources — and presents them with derived figures such as year-on-year changes, currency conversions and nowcasts.

It is provided for information only. Nothing on the site is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, an offer or solicitation, or a recommendation to buy or sell any security or instrument. Decisions you take on the basis of what you read here are your own.

Accuracy and timeliness

Figures are read from their publishers of record and kept as published; a publisher's revision is stored beside the original and marked. Publishers correct, delay and withdraw releases, feeds fail, and parsing can be wrong. The site is offered as is and as available, without warranty of accuracy, completeness, timeliness or fitness for a purpose. Windows with missing months are labelled as incomplete, and nothing is interpolated.

Using the site

• You may use the site, its charts and its CSV exports for your own research, reporting and internal analysis, with attribution to Skylab and to the underlying publisher.
• The JSON endpoints under /api/ exist to serve the page. Automated bulk collection, resale or redistribution of the data feed, and any use that degrades the service for others, is not permitted without written permission.
• Third-party data carried on the site (memory spot tapes, exchange filings) stays subject to its publisher's terms.
• The summaries are arithmetic over the stored figures, computed by fixed rules with no language model. The English translations of Thai factory names and the commentary in the monthly Book are written by a language model and can be wrong; treat them as a starting point, not a source.

Subscriptions

• Access is sold per named person, at $4,800 a year, billed annually in advance. There is no monthly plan.
• A login is for its holder alone and works on up to three devices at a time. Sharing it with anyone else is not permitted.
• Subscriptions for several people at one firm are arranged by agreement: write to [email protected].
• Access runs to the end of the paid period. An account that is shared, or used to copy the data in bulk, may be suspended.

Availability and changes

The service may change, pause or end at any time. These terms may be updated; the date above says when. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rightsify is not liable for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, the site or its data, including indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or trading losses.
